The latest Rowan book is in. We are always very excited when Rowan comes in. As usual, we already have several projects picked out. Here are just a couple:

Although it is warmer lately, there is still a lot of Winter left (I know, I'm sorry I said that). Since there is still going to much time spent indoors, why not use some of your extra yarn to make items for children in foster care and animals in shelters? Only a Grandma Would Do This

This is Mary's latest finished project:
It is a blanket for her grand-daughter, Grace. Grace was very specific in her request. It had to be a red blanket. With:

a bunny.

a horse.

a hedgehog.

a pug.

a panda.

a penguin.

a golden retriever.

an orange cat on a blue bike.

and perhaps most important- Grace, 2000 (the year she was born).

Grace will treasure this forever. And maybe, just maybe, someday she'll realize exactly how much work this blanket was. Grandma must really love her.
